A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth that it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.
We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized b…

Hosting auctions on Bonanzle help to stimulate sales and can also be very fun. There are no general rules for auctions as each seller can decide to use different strategies and methods. This makes it confusing for those who are just starting out with Bonanzle auctions, so here I will offer some basic guidelines and options to help you get started. Remember that they can eventually be altered to your liking.
Auctions are held in a sellers booth chat box and bids are placed directly in the chat b…

I found this article that might help some of you with your attributes. It helped me for sure !
I highly recommend learning how to do Google attributes as they are very important sales wise. Don't be intimidated by the computer language. You are basically telling Google what your item is so that they can help people find it. To make it easier, simply start out with the basic attributes like the color, product type etc.
I usually copy and paste my attributes and then do the simi…

Your item titles are very important as they will be used by search engines such as Google to help buyers find your products. Even more importantly, most Bonanzle buyers will use titles only to find your items when doing a search so that they do not end up with a bunch of irrelevant items.
It's not always easy to know which words should be included in the title as we are limited to the number of words we can use, unlike Google attributes and descriptions.
I'm going to help you by first telli…

A Fantastic Opportunity to Educate Others About Living With Fibro!
This is an email that I recently received from a Fibro group - This started with just ONE PERSON and look how it grew! Think about the impact that this ONE person has on the world around her! How I admire Gina!
Just like Gina's letter-writing campaign, Andrea's Creations - has proven that you can STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU HAVE FIBRO! My un…

I never would have had time to make a quick jaunt to Kentucky with a friend...if I did not have Fibromyalgia! One of my friends is a Dressage rider and she is looking for a new horse. We live in Virginia, and the horse she wanted to look at is in Kentucky. If I did not have Fibro, I would never have had the flexible schedule that allowed me to make this road trip with her.
Although it was a quick trip (one day down, ride the horse that afternoon and the next morning and then drive home)…

I've been making soup for a friend who has cancer...One of the hardest things in life, I think, is to face mortality. When a loved one becomes ill. it makes us think of our own mortality. I know that I have had many a "pity-party" over the changes that I've had to make in my life because of Fibro. But, know that they are small in comparison to the changes one goes through because of cancer.
I am glad that, because of my Fibro, I am able to spend hours in the kitchen making home-made, nut…

I'm blessed to be able to do something that I enjoy...
I worked for over 20-years with youth across the State of Virginia. Thousands of disbaled and other at-risk kids have crossed my path - for better or worse (LOL). I've run job training programs at a community college and taught work readiness classes; worked as a probation officer with serious, chronic and violent juvenile offenders; operated drug elimination programs in public housing communities; been a principal of a special education al…

As I was leaving the office of a local printer this afternoon, I had a thought - I never would have met a whole host of wonderful people if I didn't have Fibro. Since I started Andrea's Creations, I've met (not always in person, sometimes just by internet or phone) people from all over the world! I am getting more and more artists on board - donating their work for me to use on t-shirts, note cards, greeting cards, key rings, hats... I've met GREAT people through Bonanzle AND lots of fun and int…

It's amazing how having Fibro makes my friends think I'm a healer of their aches and pains :-)
Since I've tried everything under the sun to relieve my Fibro symptoms I have a cupboard full of "tricks". It makes me feel good to be able to provide a heating pad and patches, magnetic bands, huge ice packs... as well as to suggest doctors and/or herbal remedies.
So in a way, I guess that Fibro has made me a healer - mostly because I can sympathize AND empathize when someone else is in pain. I k…

Yesterday I spent several hours making homemade stock. When I am cooking, I put scraps cut off of fresh vegetables (tomato ends, seeds and juice; carrots, celery, outer peels and ends of onions (and garlic if you cook lots of italian dishes)..., leftover liquid from canned vegetables, leftover cooked vegetables in a large freezer bag (I keep a seperate bag for leftover chicken, bones...).
Once I have several bags, I make…
